Project Overview

This project was a complete top-to-bottom gut renovation of an outdated Maryland home — redesigned and rebuilt to modern standards of comfort, safety, and efficiency. Browning Pro-Built handled every phase of the transformation, from demolition and structural redesign to the final interior finishes.

Scope of Work

• Structural Redesign: We removed multiple load-bearing walls to open the main floor layout and create a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
• Kitchen Expansion: Installed custom white shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a full suite of premium finishes for a bright, timeless look.
• Added Bathrooms: Built two new full bathrooms — one upstairs and one in the finished basement — featuring modern tilework, efficient fixtures, and elegant lighting.
• All-New Windows & Openings: Replaced every window throughout the home with energy-efficient units and expanded bedroom windows to allow more natural light and meet current egress standards.
• All-New Systems:
  • Electrical: Completely rewired with a new service panel to meet current code and handle today’s load demands.
  • Plumbing: Installed new supply and drain lines throughout, ensuring longevity and leak-free performance.
  • Insulation: Properly insulated the entire envelope for comfort and energy savings year-round.
  • HVAC: Upgraded to a new hybrid oil system combining high-efficiency electric heat pump technology with an oil backup for reliable year-round heating and cooling.
• Exterior Upgrades:
  • New Roof installed for long-term protection.
  • New Septic System with drain fields plus holding tank and well service including a replacement jet valve for reliable water pressure and quality.
